Louder Than Ten… Back and Better Than Ever.

It’s born… again. Not “born again”, but redesigned, realigned, and completely refreshed once again.
Things have changed a lot since starting Louder Than Ten as a music blog a few years ago. It went from being a little creative experiment inspired by a college project with my good friend Marc LeBoeuf about a fictional indy music website, to eventually becoming the name of my little design business. After a few years of being lonely in the freelance world, I decided to get a full time graphic design job and did a bit of freelance under LT10 on the side. As of recently I am no longer with that company, but in search of a great new opportunity.
Not only has this made me reevaluate my career but also this little entity I like to call Louder Than Ten. As of today I am no longer taking client work outside of my day job. Instead I will be focusing my time and energy on more fulfilling endeavors like writing and designing on a more personal and experimental level, and getting back to my design roots. I’m planning a few little “projects” in the coming months. If they go somewhere.. awesome, but that’s not the point. I’m about to immerse myself in something that doesn’t require a finished product, doesn’t need to be bug free, doesn’t have a deadline, and most of all has the freedom to step as far out of bounds as I’m willing to take it.
So what can you expect here? Hmm… that’s still a little unclear. Probably some commentary on design, or music, or even a bit of politics. Maybe a few reviews, perhaps the odd tutorial. Over time it will define itself, but until then I’m going to avoid any constraints and write what feels right to me. If you love it, thanks in advance, I love you too… if you hate it don’t read it, I’ll still love you. Either way, feel free to subscribe to the feed or just keep checking in.
Well enough with the dramatics and the ambiguity. Let’s get this damn show started already!
